Our daughter, Lindy, posted this on her blog and I'm so impressed with it that I'm sharing it on mine! Our little granddaughter, Ruthie, has explained in a way only a little child can, about why the Lord instituted marriage. This could be part of the proclamation to the world!!

Ruthie, pointing to my bridal photo: "look, Collin, that's my mom in her wedding dress!"

Collin: "why?" (he's barely 3 years old)

Ruthie: "because she's getting married."

Collin: "why?"

Ruthie: "she's getting married to my daddy so she can have me!"
