Feelin' blue!

No pictures this time. I just need to vent a bit. I've been reading family blogs, listening to old tapes of my kids when they were little and when they were not so little. I've been working on Mikah's bedspread and got a fun email from one of my grandsons. I have also recently learned that a very long-time and good friend, Paula Vineyard, has been diagnosed with cancer from head to toe and all inside. I've spent the past two days helping a friend clean out her mother-in-law's apartment after she passed away unexpectedly. All of these things, unseemingly related, and yet bring out all of my emotions and so now I'm sitting here crying! Thankfully, I have the gospel with all of the promises therein and I can seek comfort in prayer. I will go do that right now.

I think you should have gotten out your camera and taken a picture of you sitting there crying. It would have made the entry come alive - just kidding. I am sorry to hear about your friend.
I think it is wonderful life can make us cry sometimes. It means we are really living it, feeling it and have loved enough to hurt a bit.
Love to you my friend, Susan

Oh my dear sweet mother!!! That must be where I get it! I love you so much. I'm always inspired by how much service you do and all the things you do to help others. I'm very sad to hear about Paula...but just remember when you pass on and she's there to greet you it will be like it was only a short moment in time that you were apart! I love you!
