My wall

Let me tell you about my wall. Many years ago, before we had grandchildren, I bought a kit to embroider and in the center it says, "Grandchildren are like flowers in the garden of life." And then it has spaces to embroider the names of the grandchildren. So I did the stitchery on it and added names of the grandkids as they came along! Well, then it got full - 16! So I have made what I call an "addendum," and have added it to the wall. All around these embroidered works are photos of the grandchildren. I just recently redid the arrangement it to make room for the "addendum." I love it! I'm thankful for each of these precious grandchildren from our oldest who is 16 down to the youngest, 4 months! I haven't added his name, yet, because the adoption isn't final, but we're pretty certain all will go well. His picture is up, though! I love my wall!

Did you forget that your youngest grandchild is only 8 weeks old? We love the wall as do our kids.

I have always loved your "grandchild flower garden." And I think it's fun that right now your oldest (Chase) and youngest (Ryder) grandchildren both come from the same family.

Whoops! I did forget the very youngest one! He's up there and his name is there. Oh my goodness! You can probably plan on this happening more often - senior moments!!!

That wall is totally awesome! I agree that grandchildren are the best:)You did such a good job on that needlework, and I've done them before and know what it takes. Thanks for sharing!
